Can someone identify the circled object in this photo? It looks like a light to me but just want to confirm. My dash has the square hole but is covered with a blank piece of metal as I guess this option didn't come with the car. If it is a light, does anyone know where I can find one? Thanks in advance.

Bill

Yep, that is where the map light goes. My Matador also had the delete plate but I was able to find a light for it quite easily. Try John at Big M he has two 60's in his yard.

I have never seen a 1960 Dodge with a 7-button signal seek radio, they are not even mentioned in the Owners manuals or brochures. Ive been looking at 60 Dodges since 1974 when I owned my first one, and have never seen one of these. is this an original Dodge radio - sure looks like it - excapt that the push buttons do look slightly different than normal...

The knobs don't match the other knobs so it was probably added after the car was built. Maybe a radio out of a Desoto?

That style of radio or at least the install config was used all the way into 63/64 via the Dodge 880's. 61 did not have the 7button either. Very cool and does look right at home there.
