Someone made a dream come true! I always said a 60 Desoto would be a great conv. And here some one must have made this from a 60 Chrysler conv. Very nice!!
Only I would have left the Chrysler astro-dome dash. HAPPY MOTORING! Victor.

Brad Beardsley combined a '60 Chrysler Windsor convertible with a '60 Adventurer coupe to create that blue car.   I spoke with him about the car when it was about 98% completed at a WPC meet in the west end of the San Fernando Valley of S. California at least 15 years ago.   Brad had health problems and died not long after completing the car.   It next appeared at a Barret-Jackson auction where it sold and underwent a restoration prior to its next appearance at Boyd Coddington's collector car sales.   It was offered for it seemed like about 2 years, maybe more, before it sold and I haven't seen it since.  That was about 5 years ago.   The car had an inline dual quad 413 with some chrome dress up items.

Aivar and I saw the 60 Desoto yesterday at the Mecum auction in Anaheim.

Car is nice, Aivar really likes it, but I'm more into the 57-58 Desotos. The Desot does need some work, the foam from the seats was
shedding all over the carpet, (the car has swingout seats), and it has a leak in the gas line to the carbs.

We were there selling Aivar's 1955 Olds 98 Starfire convertible.
The Olds is fully loaded, including factory air, auto head light dimmer, leather interior, power windows p[ower seats, power brakes and power steering.

It sold for 50 grand even.
