Seems too good of a deal. Does anyone know this car? Maybe a salt water flood car from Hurricane Sandy a couple of years ago?

I don't know the car, but the pictures make it look like a fair price, especially for a running and driving car. Pictures never tell the whole story though - if you are close by, it is worth a look-see.

Interestingly, the upholstery in this car is NOT "original" as is stated. The style of upholstery in there is for a sedan, not a hardtop, and the material is sewn in the wrong direction (the "chains" should be vertical, not horizontal).

Looks like a car that has been sitting idle outside for five years after 50 years of tender loving care. That always baffles me.

Looks like a stored flood victim, doesnt it?

Notice the gauge cluster isnt mounted, but its the rust lines comming out from under the trims that would be the big worry.

The rust on the bonnet looks like something has been sitting on it wet? The right corner looks rusted through

I would be looking really hard at places like the sills and bottom of the A pillar and floors on this one

Looked at this car today. Its not bad …(If it had 2 doors less i would own it) He said owner died and his girlfriend 's selling it. Looks like its a nice car that was left out as it has surface rust but floors, and trunk around headlights are solid. I hope someone saves it from becoming an engine dona for a street rod and the rest ends up a couch.
Im surprised the pot metal is pretty nice, but the car will need everything , Its a shame… HAPPY MOTORING! Victor.
