I just finished doing the power window conversion in my 61 NYer four door hardtop and it is very gratifying. It is also a lot of work that requires a lot of scrounging for very specific parts needed for inside the doors not the least of which is the rear window regulators for a four door hardtop. Punching the holes in the doors and jams is a real hoot that is much easier with the doors removed but can be done with the doors still on the car. You might want to check out Wizard's thread on doing the conversion without replacing the vinyl on the door panels. Let me know if you need any assistance during the install.

To my mind doing this type of upgrade is a hell of a job. I have never done it and I don't know anyone who has, only fellers on here.
The donor and the recipient next to each other would be the best way, unless you are skilled in the art................

If you want to add power windows to your 61 four door hardtop, the setup from these vehicles will fit your car:
Front doors
'60-'64 Chrysler 4-door sedan and HT
Desoto '60-'61 4-door HT
Dodge '60-'61 4-door sedan and HT
Dodge '62-'64 880 series 4-door sedan and HT
Plymouth '60-'61 4-door sedan and HT
The rear door regulators will work from the same cars, but MUST be either a 4-door hardtop or 4-door hardtop Suburban wagon.
