Elite Veteran Posts: 699 Location: Los Angeles, California | I absolutely love the car, and it's been posted a few times, we just know he's asking too much though otherwise you'd be talking to the new owner of it. much like the car john (Big M) had earlier, and he was asking 3,500 for it.

Expert Posts: 3903 Location: Northen Virginia | the guy looks match the eBay description He got to be a non English native speaker like myself. Gosh is hard to understand him, "the lady never drove it" is all I really got, and the "always parked inside" is a lie. Way too expensive for a car like this. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9879 Location: So. Cal | It does look like a decent ride. I am close to this car so let me know if you would like me to check it out for you if you manage to win the auction. Keep in mind that auto auctions are non-binding, meaning that you are not obligated to purchase it after the auction if it is misrepresented.

I based it off of Big M's most recent sale of his 57 belvedere sedan. His prices are generally spot on. Becides with 110, 000 belvedere 4 door sedans produced in 1957, they are not what you'd call rare.

Its steering wheel should show very little wear on it. Lots of areas to check on it: trunk, undercarriage, and floor pan under the rear seat, along with various parts in the engine compartment.

Elite Veteran Posts: 699 Location: Los Angeles, California | Curious if it's spent all of it's life here in LA, if so I'd assume a lot of stop and go driving...wouldn't there be more wear than on this one than one equipped with power steering? I recall John saying that LA built cars were equipped with red hood springs which this has. Non power steering plus a powerflite two speed.

Expert Posts: 1324 Location: Hickory, NC | They all had red springs. But it appears LA cars had red primer hinges where others had plated hinges.
