I just took a quick look here but didn't see anything on this and I don't believe the way I was told that it is supposed to be a secret or anything but a few weeks ago, someone approached me and my Suburban and said he really liked my car. He proceeded to tell me that next years 2015 Chryslers at Carlisle theme would be Forward Look cars. I believe he might have been connected with the whole Carlisle outfit?
Has this subject been discussed here or did anyone else hear anything about it? I've had my Suburban around 8 years and have been out to Chryslers at Carlisle 3 times and never saw another 60 Plymouth Suburban. I really would like to see another 1960 Plymouth Suburban and that might be my best chance.
IF it is actually dedicated to Forward Look cars, would it bring in any more that usual or just bring the Forward Look cars that are always there, more to the front?

They are having a Forward look display, last year was the Cuda I guess.

You have something rare, appreciate it Most Mopar/Chrysler things are about 68-70 cudas, challenger and charger, dart......

I am like "Hey a mopar show!" and then I show up and it a bunch of new cars and boring same old cars. Im like wow a duke boy charger... then I go "doh why did I go to that?"...

Went to a large mopar event and the biggest deal was a bunch three AMC javelins showed up im sure people where like "HEY what are they doing here??!!!".. Yawn waste of gas...

Thanks. I wasn't sure but I really didn't think I had some unknown info. I guess it is just new news to me.
I wished I could pull up the opening page for Chryslers at Carlisle the first time I looked for it years ago. The Carlisle site opened with a picture of my Suburban, so I know my car was there but I don't know when it was. I can't find it again.
Oh well, thanks again and HAVE A GREAT DAY!,
Karl.

From what I hear there are some killer plans in the works for Carlisle 2015. They'll be featuring the Forward Look era cars at the Dealership building on the edge of the fairground by one of the gates. This is pretty much the closest you will ever come to seeing a "Nationals" for forward look cars. Start making plans to be there, and keep an eye out for more details on the event. You won't want to miss it!

Now you have me thinking that I need to be there. I don't have any trailer queens like you guys(lmao) but i might need to start making plans as this might be the closest thing to the Tulsa show and I missed it.

The guy I was talking to asked me if I would have any interest in putting my car on display in a pavilion. I told him that mine is a driver not a show car and he said that is what they want up there also.
Hey, who knows, maybe I'll have my SMS door panels by then? That should be well over 1 1/2 years. Last time I asked them, they said they would "move me up on the list". I know they just said that to shut me up for a while. It's been a couple months, guess its time to bug them again.

To clarify, Forward Look cars will be featured at the "Dealership" on the Carlisle grounds. More information will follow soon. =)

That's if you're in one of the Buildings. I imagine as long as your car isn't featured INSIDE the dealership, you can come and go.

I've been staying at the Radisson in Camp Hill for the past few years. It's a nice place and if you tell them you're with Mopar Collectors Guide, they'll give you a discount.
