Yup, someone did and it still looks cheesy. First thing I would do is replace it with a brand new repro pad.
Also he states the wheels are K-H originals, but they don't look like the correct ones to me. The originals were made by Motor Wheel, these are lip-laced versions with the wrong centre caps. The rad in this car looks to be from an A/C equipped car, as it has the upper tank hose connection at the far end instead of centre, per Non A/C cars. Otherwise looks like a nice car, would like to know the rust history on it!

But Dad, there are no buttons to make the windows go up and down, just these funny handle thingys. ;-)

A New Yorker just isn't a New Yorker without power windows!

A Fireflite isn't a Fireflite without power windows either !!!! Amazing to me how many of this top-line
model were built without 'em !

Power Windows are almost a " MUST HAVE" option for me. Even my former 60 Polara has them. I'd rather have a mid line model with them than a top of the line without.

Denis, take a closer look, and you should see they are certainly the longer 126" wb fenders.

Ian, what do you think this convert will go for eventually? He has it relisted again at $60K?

I think it will go for trade. 3 hoppers of uncleaned peas, 2 shopping carts, 27 bales of timothy,
4 hootenannies, 9 forward operating bases, and a lifetime supply of free haircuts.

Without power windows, he'll be lucky to sell this one for parts.

Sold - on the second time around auction listing - for $55,000.00. This is about $14,000.00 more than a nicer 60 New Yorker convertible sold for about 3 weeks ago at just over $40,000.00
