That is a picture of Neils car, he had those particular covers made by an upholstery shop out of clear vinyl. I have searched myself for pre made clear plastic seat covers, and have found no sources. I think that having them made at a good upholstery shop may be the only option.

I don't believe anyone has new premade clear covers for all models and styles of Forwardlook cars after 5 decades!

Yup, any good auto trim shop should be able to make them up for you and quite reasonably.  There are about three styles of clear vinyl too - no pattern plain, square sort of 'bubbles' and one other I think.

Hello, Steve; as I've written relatively many times, any good local auto-upholstery shop (we've got several of them, in
my little town) can stitch up loose seat cloth material that 'you' can get from SMS, or Original Auto Interior, and/or from
another seller of upholstery material.

Back in the 80's, finding OEM/NOS seat material was a real treasure hunt, and it was not unusual to find enough material
to 'do' a car only after acquiring several remnants, from different sources.

Now, it's literally 1-stop-shopping, for seat material.

Anyway, your same local upholstery shop, in addition to perfectly/custom-ly installing an interior, can stitch-up perfectly-
fitting clear plastic material over your seats.

I'm 'always' getting compliments and comments about the "original" clear plastic seat covers, that you can see, above here.

Fact is, these are the second (or third?---second, I think) set of clear covers that have been on the car, since the mid 80's.

Speaking of 'your' local auto-upholstery place, in the above photo you will see SMS-created door trim panel red-vinyl sheeting,
which my local shop stitched together, with the car's OEM printed-vinyl center section. The shop also mounted the completed
trim panels to new 'cardbord' backings .

The SMS sheet vinyl (with the Mylar lower-ovoids attached) has a nice thin foam backing, so that the completed trim panels
have a nice three-dimensional thickness, as you can see in the photo.

Not that it matters, but, in the pic you can also see the working 7-button Signal-Seeking radio, and the vintage Motorola
FM converter, which is plastic-strapped around the heater housing control (for easy service-removal, as necessary).

Steve, what a pitty to cover such nice Seats in transparent, and then at all uncomfortable to sit. I suggest you. keep your nice seatss as they are, enjoy them when driving and just take care for. My more sensitive white seats are already 10 years old, look as new, but must take care as for everything, when want to keep them nice. - SERGE -
