Location: Blythewood, SC | You don't really need it if you don't have it. My radio has been just fine for years without the brace. my car was radio delete, but I put in a factory unit. Since I didn't have the brace, I figured I would break the pot metal face pretty quick. It's been there for 8-9 years of heavy use with zero problems.
I'm sure the next post will tell you I'm wrong though.

Location: bishop, ca | I've got plenty of spare radio mounting brackets, for the Dodge radios.
Anybody know if all Model 805 (IIRC) radio brackets are identical, as far as car-models are concerned?

Location: Ripon, WI | Yeah, if properly installed, it should stay just fine....... if you really really want one, I am sure you could make one fairly easily using the universal ones that are out there. Basically just metal strapping. |
