i placed the ball end of a ball peen hammer under the header on the bench and taped it in a little for more roomOn Sat, May 22, 2021 at 9:03 PM Richard Kinsley <leroar.k...@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:Studs won't work! Not enough room to put on the nut. I bought several wrenches and customized them. Only an open end that is ground thin worked for me. To get the bolt in place I used steel tie wire . I encircled the bolt with the wire and used that to position it and hopefully hold it till it started. I actually worked 2 days once just trying to get that one started! Ask Paul Lenneman! He refused to ever help with the headers again. :-)I gave those wrenches to the new owner of LeRoar or I'd send them to you. After doing it a dozen or so times I got better at it. Good luck and don't rush!--On Sat, May 22, 2021, 12:24 AM dennis.1963ply <dennis....@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:Hello,I am trying to install TTI Headers on a 318 Poly in a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere.
Finally I have all of the header bolts in except one and that one is getting close to impossible. It is the lower bolt of cylinder #5 which is the third one on the driver's side. I can get it in the hole but so far I have not found a way to turn it with my fingers or any tool to get it started. I am using the bolts that came with the headers. Even though I really don't want to I have considered pulling the header back off of the driver's side and installing studs in the difficult locations.I am working on jack stands so I have limited ways I can get my hands up the the header flange. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.ThanksDennis C.--
