Re: help getting out of park with push button?

Gary,

I would think it's like any other 2 cable transmission. When on an incline, holding the car with the foot brake and with the transmission in neutral set the parking brake. Release the foot brake allowing the parking brake to hold the car on the incline. Now put the car in park. Never allow the transmission to hold the car on an incline. The park position would be secondary and hold the car should the parking brake fail. The parking prawl, like a parking pin should not have the strain of the cars wait on an incline.
