What everyone seems to forget or just not remember; back in the 60's you were able to order any thing you wanted, If it wasn't available, check with one of the other dealers until you found one that would create a special order for you. Some dealers added features on cars on the lot to make a sale. If you found a car with bench seats but wanted buckets........just wait till they change them out from another car on the lot. Sorry to say that window stickers are not guaranteed 100% accurate.
I ordered my '62 Max Wedge Savoy with heater, radio, tinted windshield, and Sport Fury steering wheel in medium blue metallic color. They were all available and turned out to be one of 11 blue 62 Savoy's, as listed and recorded in Darrell Davis's books.
