Very late to this discussion, but I recall a trick with the Saginaw where you can put a flat washer with a smaller diameter hole where the high pressure hose connects. This reduces the flow and makes it more like the modulated power steering we are used to on our late model cars. So if you'd like to get rid of the one finger steering it's probably in the archives.Paul L.
