As an alternative, try and make friends with someone who has a 3-D printer. They could make a couple of new shift levers for you that point to the correct locations on the shifter. My experience is more with the later buttons, but the shifters have all been the same only the buttons and bezels varied between different models. 

I’ve got a set of 1962 Dart buttons in the horizontal pattern lined up for my 1927 Model T hot rod with a 1966 361 (casting date on my birthday) and supposed 1963 big block 727.
