Re: OEM Tire Information

700-14 was the 8 cylinder OE tire size for your 1962. (Not from my memory though, I had to look it in my files. LOL)

Brand? Hum. Good question. Goodyear is a high possibility.

700-14 translates to modern size P195/75R14 in this case per this chart
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/45_conversionchart.jsp
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=45  ;(details)

So you can of course search Canadian tire store for that size, if you don't care about the "Original Equipment" markings,
just the look of the tire, size wise.

FYI: Here is a general reference article about tires for classic cars.
https://www.restore-an-old-car.com/classic-car-tires.html

P.S., I have a set of 4 original equipment tires that came off a 12000 mile 1964 Dodge 440. I can look at the brand
markings if you want. Goodyear comes to mind. Maybe BF Goodrich? The tires look good but obviously only good for a
non-driver, like a museum car, or as a "look only" spare tire. Too old for safe use.

Thanks,
Gary H.
