I have a 62 440 with a 318 and pb 727 and would like to replace the tires with something a bit more OEM looking. Attached to this are a couple photos of the spare that came with the car. It's a Goodyear Custom Super Cushion 7.00x14. I read the Hemmings article that said that all v8 cars came with 7.00x14 so could this be one of the original tires. As you can see, the front is worn way too far down to be legible but was hoping someone knew what tires came with these cars from the factory. It's a Hamtrack, IL built car that was sold originally in California, and made it's way to me in Port Alberni Canada. I really like the look of this tire, and see that Lucas Tires has them in 750x14. I don't drive it a ton so I am more concerned with authenticity than the most modern technology. Any information on what brand tire would have come on the car is appreciated. As well as information as to where to buy in Canada would be great too. Thanks, Chris -- -- Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
