thanks for replying but it is different.there is an small hole looks like for a sheet metal screw in the heater codre thinking that's  where it might go. i took this thing apart more than 10 years ago. i could have done a better job of marking everything.Since i'm not working due to the virus i'm finally getting around to getting it together. thankas again and be safe-Bob
