This question is only for the more "economically challenged" members. Like me! Anybody ever tried this? It is sold in hobby shops for plastic model kit work. I am building an anglia gasser kit right now and I thought I would try it to "chrome" some homemade Hilborn injector stacks I made for the kit. It looks amazingly good. As good as the plastic chromed bumpers and what not that come in model kits. The pen even says indoor or outdoor and I am thinking why couldn't a poorer member use it to "chrome" gauges, face plates , etc. on our dashboards. I am very tempted to remove my gauge cluster from the cuda and try it. I also saw a video on you tube of a guy shooting the stuff from an airbrush and it looked pretty darn good. You can buy refills and just pour the juice into the airbrush, thin it, and shoot it. I tried a different brand chrome pen once 15 years ago and wasnt impressed with it all.Got the Molotow pen at HobbyLobby and if you use their 40% off coupon its just about ten bucks.Neal Zimmerman, Eugene Oregon
