storage and it was indeed a 1 1/4" bolt. I'm pretty sure both LA and Poly 318 motors use the same bolt.
Bruce Toth from Toth Performance in PA I think is still a member of this Mail List. He rebuilds Poly engines would know
for certain. You can call Bruce and ask. His phone # is in the "engine" section of the 62-65 vendor's page.
