HMMMM….that is interesting/surprising (to me) advice for your engine. I would say the RPM will be near the same but have a “slight” edge if ported. For your full-throttle 550HP RACE level a GOOD single plane is far superior to the dual plane RPM manifold. You are in the RPM band like lightning and those high RPMs require uninhibited air flow from a single plane. That being said, I think the best manifold for your 550HP RACE 440 would be the Mopar M1 Big Block intake. Should be able to pick one up very reasonably priced on Ebay or from a list member. Looking forward to your results.
