On my 65 Coronet with 528 hemi with 2x4 cross ram I have no problems even after not being started for months. I agree with electric fuel pump as solution. I turn ignition then fuel pump and pump accelerator 6-8 times, turn over engine for 5 seconds, pump accelerator another 3-4 times and it starts every time. It's just what you have to do in my opinion with these old cars. You just have to get gas into the carbs. Electric fuel pump gets it there quicker. I add Stabil or Dry Gas to fuel cell a couple times per year as well. David E.
