A fellow member of a Mopar club we used to have around here bought a ‘62 Dart with a 440 and the long rams already in it. It was well timed and ran nice and smooth when I heard it. He could see no mods to the inner fender but he said under some conditions he could detect some indication that one side was making contact. He eventually took the set up off and went with something else though.

Or did in my Newport.  Usually put me about 65-75 depending on gear and tires  as I had changed that.  Well I was playing around.  People just do not expect a 62 Newport to jump and run away from them like that car would.    I would have people run me down just tell me how cool that was.  Then id pop the hood and watch their eyes bug out!!    Sold the Newport and kept the rams.

Well that’s been my experience with rams so far.  O forgot to say the Newport had “buckets” in the fender well for clearance for the rams from the factory so was super easy to install

stock single 4bbl /With/ Holley 750 DP/ Mec secondary's....and it goes!...
