Jake here. Sorry I forgot to leave my name. I recently bought this '65 Coronet 500 in an auction out of California. We had one like it when we got married 48 years ago, so it has special significance to my wife. This one has a fresh 383 and auto, disk brakes on all 4 corners, flawless black interior, and very nice repaint in the original medium turquois metallic. The body is super straight and all the original trim is there! Even has the original Owner's Manual. One quirk tho' The battery has been moved into the trunk and a battery cutoff switch installed on the rear panel. This was never a hemi car, so I'm not sure why? Thinking about moving the battery back up front and restoring the trunk layout. I'll share photos if it ever stops raining here in the Northwest so I can bring it out of the garage. Anyone know of a restoration manual or guide for the '65 Coronets? I'm working off of other folk's photos trying to figure out where stuff belongs. Jake.
