Re: 22 to 26 radiator

It may be necessary to move the battery tray and horns.  I installed a 22" aluminum radiator with side tanks and those were two things that make it a tight fit.

I have a '64 Belvedere that has a 22" radiator.  I am starting to gather parts to put a Gen3 6.1 Hemi in it and looking at radiators.  Has anyone swapped to a 26" radiator?  What all is involved?  Some things I read said it will fit no problem and other things said to modify the core support.  I am going to an aluminum radiator and electric fan(s).  I don't mind that a couple inches on each side would be blocked by using my 22" core support, I just want to know if it will fit without other modifications.
Thanks for any advice!
