Re: LED Lights

I have run LEDs in dash lights,parking lights and brake lights no heat issues. I am currently using LED's for headlights with my Ram3500. They have stainless steel flex straps mounted to the rear of them for cooling purposes. I also had LED's for headlights in my 300. They had little cooling fans built on to the rear of the bulb. I had heard that they may have issues altho I never experienced any. I no longer own the car. Traded it in. Hope this may shed that light your looking for. Pat

I'd heard that there's an issue with heat with LED's, but I dont know that for sure. If it is, then it would raise concerns about using them in the dash.

Anyone have some "light" (pun intended) they can shed on this?
