Mo , you don't have to worry about offending me at all. It's jut that I've read so many bad reviews vs. good. It's like when I was on the MSD Atomic EFI forum. There were so many bad reviews and people having trouble with the product. And when I asked them why you had to send the whole throttle body back to them because a sensor had failed, they gave me a very snarky answer. Then when I criticized them first for their snarky answer, and secondly for not making a throttle body that you can work on without voiding your warrantee, they kicked me off their forum. Very unprofessional. I then decided not to buy anything with the letters MSD on it.

Jimmy, I don't mean to offend you, but I have to stand up for what I believe in. I have been on this website for a long time and would think I would notice if there were a LOT of Pertronix failures. You have the right to call it "junk" but I know that not to be true. Even farmers praise them when used on their gas tractors.
#1 they have to be installed correctly ---which is probably the reason for some failures #2 You can't expect the Pertronix to fix other problems-- the base one simply gets rid of the points and their associated issues...................MO On Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 5:05:47 PM UTC-5, Jimmy_Volmer wrote:
