Sorry, this is not 62 to 65 Mopar but the question I am asking is appropriate for 62 to 65 Mopar engines also.
I am actually working on an RV with a 360 that has an exhaust leak and the manifold is installed with a gasket.
My understanding is that normally a gasket is not used however at some point in time the engine was rebuild or repaired and a gasket was installed probably just because it was in the gasket kit.
If I don't use a gasket should I use something like a very small amount of high temperature RTV, Copper Coat or just clean it well and install it bare?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
