Re: 64 2 door sedan doors

I don't think a '64 door will work on the '63. Pretty sure the wing window/a-pillar angles are different. The Hollander interchange numbers are different as well. 1415 vs. 1535
It's possible that he may be able to use the door shell and graft the wing window portion of the window frame to the later door.
When my buddy and I did our 64 we were fortunate enough to have a 64 parts car that provided the doors and quarter window sections. If you have those parts, the swap is easy.

Subject: 64 2 door sedan doors

Hi,

I have a friend that just bought a 63 Savoy 4 door and he wants to make it into a 2 door sedan.

I know of a 64 2 door sedan that can be cut up.

Will the B pillar and the doors from the 64 fit onto the 63?  I know that the existing B pillar on the 4 door has to be cut off.

The question is really if the door height and the roof rail are in the same position to allow the conversion.

Please advise.

Thanks,
