I gotta agree with Ricky on this. Black urethane is very sticky and will last. I had a 1990 Lebaron coupe that had nothing for trim. So to spruce it up a bit I grabbed a couple 3.0 liter V6 call out emblems from a junk yard, put a couple dabs of black urethane on the back and stuck it on where I thought it would look good. Had tha6 car for almost three years and not a single problem with those emblems.
