The blue regulator is not a good street piece.

--the regulator taken off my 62 Plymouth gasser is a blue P-3690732I was trying to figure out which was hot terminal and which went to alternator.On line chat rooms had various comments about this being for race only an Jeg's agrees.I want to drive on street as well as strip.Does anyone have experience with this regulator over charging and damaging the battery?What is the stock equivalent for a 440 motor? Do I need one for strip and one for street?Thanks for club advise.David
