This conversation reminds of my friend Harlan from childhood, who would never tighten his brake cables on his ten speed, so as his brake pads wore down, he had to pull those brake levers further until they eventually would just bottom out on the handlebars. Same principle.Brake pads wear down you need to cinch up the cable. Brake pads wear down you need to cinch up the adjusters.Neal

If your Dodge gets consistently slower then you know every time you press your brakes to a stop going forward the brake shoes are getting adjusted closer to the drum. :)
