OK, back to my barracuda woes thread. I made a TDC stop, and checked my balancer, it appears spot on. So i tore off the timing case, hoping the guy installed the chain wrong or that i was really worn to explain the oil pump drive-shaft "slot issue". Well when I had #1 on TDC compression ( mark at zero, both valves twirl) I expected the dots of the two gears to be kissing, but they weren't! They were both at 12 o'clock, so is this correct.?? I always thought they were supposed to be kissing at #1 TDC , but apparently I don't know anything ( and am stupid lol).
PS chain looks high quality and in tight condition
