Steve, those conditions were always the signal to really tear into
the project ar hand with the attitude "I'm gonna
fix you, you m*****F***** if it's the last thing I do!!!"
Which was usually followed by personal injury or mortal damage to
the project, the shop, my helper, or some other completely innocent
thing that had the bad luck of being nearby.
I'm glad you knew when to quit - I'm much better now. Like the
great 20th century philosopher, Dirty Harry Callahan said: "A man's
gotta know his limitations."
