Me and Teresa, my better half, will be at the Geezer Drags this year.

We will be departing Jackson, MS, in our mighty Rambler, northwest bound to Denver, CO, Tuesday, Aug 13. We are attending the AMCRC (American Motors Corporation Rambler Club) National Convention, Holiday Inn, Lakewood, CO, Aug 15-18.

Looking forward to meeting Christopher Glick when in Denver. Are there any other club members in the area? Can we plan a get-together? Maybe a dinner at the Holiday Inn or other restaurant in the area?

I want to add a special thank-you to Christopher for fixing me up with a detail shop so I can get the bug guts removed from the Rambler before the car show. Think I rather watch someone wash the car instead of doing it in Christopher’s driveway. It’s a vacation!

We will be departing Denver Aug 18 enroute to Omaha. Plan on a couple days in the Cheyenne area; a lazy trip across Nebraska, with stops at the Classic Car Museum in Kearney and Speedway Motors in Lincoln. We will be staying at Rich K’s mansion, Fri, Sat and Sun. I am up for any schedule of events and willing to chip in on the BBQ. I vote for a return dinner trip to Quaker Steak & Lube, very cool place.

Looking forward to a great time…The Good Lord willing, the creeks don’t rise and the old folks don’t have any broken parts…we should all enjoy. The more the merrier!

I would be willing to have a B-B-Q at my place again this year for the Geezer Drags. Friday night is probably the best and then we can do something at a restaurant on Sat night if desired. I would appreciate a head count if possible a maybe is ok. Maybe a BYOB scenario would help? Give me some input and we'll get 'er dun.
