Re: Wanted: '65 C-body 4 spd. console shifter

The shifter in the Hurst link is the "non-console" version, but seems to have the same lever shape as the C-body console piece. I may be able to fabricate one by having that handle welded to the "dog leg" of a B-body console shifter. The weld may even be low enough that I wouldn't need to have the whole thing re-chromed. I'll still keep hunting around, but I don't think I'll have much luck. I sent an e-mail to "Mopar City" here in Illinois (the overpriced capitol of Chrysler salvage) and didn't even get a note back. Maybe I'll try the guy in Ohio.
