I was waiting for someone to mention the lower bowl screw trick. I use the cap to a spray can. Works like a charm. With a jet kit, tuning is uber simple, and I have never needed to maintain a Holley. 15 years on a 750 vacuum secondary on several different 440s, with only jet changes when I swapped cams, or to a different engine.

I will stand up for the Holley.. You don't have as much risk loseing little parts down into the intake. As for leaking out on the intake when taking off the bowls--No problem. Take the top 1/2 off a alum can, put it under one of the lower bowl screws and remove the screw. Gas drains from the bowl into the can. Simple and no mess. Jets are easy to change. Simple carb, easy to tune whatever area you want to. I have never had a power valve blow out. I won't say the Eddy is not good, I just prefer the Holley....................MO{Steve Mick}
