Late this afternoon, we gave him a good shot of voltage, and he woke up! Thanks to all that have helped with advice and in other ways in building this engine. We hooked up the starter wiring and battery, ran a jump wire from 12 volts to the coil, poured some gas in the vent pipes of the Holley( direct to float bowls) hooked up a remote starter button, and old Brutus roared to life. After warming up a little and making a few adjustments, the engine was sounding good!. I have a valve cover oil leak and I was a tired old dog, so Brutus will get a little rest till after the weekend. Goodguys will be in Des Moines this weekend and so will us and the 56 ChryslerAll have a great July 4th !!................................MO--
