Thanks for the input everyone, including the emailed ones. Today I took the Dodge to my local TireKing (which handles my Hondas) and had them test the charging system. Their diagnosis was a failing alternator. I'm going to study my service manual a bit and poke around with a voltmeter myself, but it seems a new alternator is my next project.
