In the past I had put them on my cars by using a chain bolted to the front of the left head and then down to the frame. Being sure to keep it taut.  I need to do this to LeRoar. I never thought of tying it to the motor mount but I don't think it would be bad either way. Of course it's shorter to the mount.

I've seen things like that on diesel Mercedes engines but I don't know, what does it do?
