RE: Tire Reco for 15x7 Wheel Going on a 300K?

Hey Dave, just do what my buddy does on his 300.  Let most of the air out of the rear tires when putting them on and pump them up after.  A 255/60R15 tire will fit and it will look good.  You also might want to think about raising the back end of your car a little bit with a pair of coil over shocks.  This should help with clearance problems and it will still have the stock look.  Got them on my 65 Polara.

Just picked up a vintage pair of Torq Thrust wheels (15x7) which I'm going to put on my 300K Ram Convertible. A question about tire size as a 60 series was just a little too tight on fit.

Anyone have a suggestion on a 65 series blackwall tire? Otherwise, open to suggestions on a 70 series. Unsure how wide I can go and stay within the parameters of safety.

Much obliged!
