only reason to oversize the hose and fittings would be if you had to much
money and could not find a place to spend it, consider the area that is allowing
the water thru on the thermostat,,,,,,,that being said the hose and fittings
could be less than 1/2 there size and still work,,,,,,

My wife told me no such thing as "too big", not sure what she was
talking about, she giggles when she says it. Is there an advantage to
getting a bigger inlet and outlet and hoses to mach? Or just leave well
enough alone?

Good info in those links. If I'm reading it
correctly the chart in the Hotrodders link indicates that 3", which has
become popular, may be too big for a lot of the B/RB motors we're running.
Makes me feel better about my 2.5" exhaust.

Just got my hands on an original 1964
3-core radiator for my car to replace the big,
ill-fitting aftermarket rad the previous owner installed,
anyone know the brand/part numbers for new upper and lower rad
hoses?
It's a 1964 Newport (Windsor up here in Canada)
with a 383.
Any insight would be appreciated!
