I think "genius" would be a huge over statement as I'm still in the research phase. But when I decide exactly what I'm doing, I'll keep everyone posted. I did my disc brake set-up with a kit. I don't see a big problem with installing a return line. Dodger whipped one out on a '66 Ply in about 15 minutes when we were working on it. He used 3/8" aluminum line and that sucker flew in there. The sending/pick-up unit is an easy removal on most I believe. Mine just pops right out in a couple minutes without messing with the tank at all. There is plenty of room to get it out.
I also think you are right about the parts issue. That's a problem with some aftermarket kits in that they take many different components from other makers and it's hard to figure out just what place they came from. I do like the Fast EX- EFI as it looks very straight forward and simple. From what I understand you can send them a manifold, or they can supply one, and they will set it up for a bolt in. Of course you still have to do the in car hook-up and mods.
Good luck with it. Do keep us informed as you will become the EFI genius :-) Rich Kinsley '64 Dodge Polara 4dr 324 poly w/goodies
