Re: Dual Point or Elect Ign?

Bang!
;)

The dual points are obviously more moving parts to mess with. The theory behind them was they were capable of making very hot spark at high speed.

http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/howto/75858_dual_point_ignition_install/ gives an infomercial on swapping in a Pertronix. Which some folks love and others do not. But it is the most simple electronic ignition conversion, which is what you seek. Keep the points etc. in the glove box and if the Pertronix ever fails you can swap the points in and get home.

Check with http://www.forwardair.com/ about engine shipping options.

Thanks,
Gary H.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
