 If it were me, I would drain out the synthetic very soon. Refill
with  a lighter weight regular motor oil with some ZDDP added I prefer
the ZDDPlus additive or maybe the GM  EOS Additive.  I would run that
for a few oil changes. When it quits burning some oil, that would
indicate the rings are lapped in and then go to eynthetic if you
wish............................MO
