Here are the latest photos....now that is 51 years worth of dirt.
But not bad really. Now I have it out...great....the shop the motor and frame were going to can't take it due to a Studebaker. It will work out. Worst case it will go in my driveway covered by a tarp. It will be out about 1 month before the car is finished with paint and it goes back in. The body shop wants to get a gently used motor from a newer truck or car....They said at the most it would cost is $1000 and it would be very low miles. They having something in mind but won't go any further but I'm to let them know by Wednesday. Now I am looking at what will fit in the car (IE hook up to the trans) Fuel and computer systems and wiring are easy stuff if you have a donor vehicle. Motor mounts would be fun too....And they won't tell me. I bet its a truck and they think it will all fit....hmmm?
