There are two small slots at very bottom of the backing plate. I remember those! And thanks, I guess that's what I'll do, I'll bring them to a brake shop, have them cut off old studs and convert them. Since I have a stripped stud anyways. Is that what Jim meant by "swaging"? I believe the drums I was gonna get were Wagner but I will check n take ur advice I want to get good quality products. Is that guy expensive Jim? Now that you tell me all that I really hope I didn't bend anything, its hard to find these parts! I found drums at oriellys for 80 bucks a pop, figured I'd just get two once I get some money. I have a shop manual and it didn't even say anything about those adjustment bolts, said something about an adjustment wheel. Ima definitely try that when I get some drums! >> >> Ruth is a 64 polaris the same? And thanks Eric for all the info! Ima try and get the drums and shoes from a parts store and hopefully I don't need anything else. Im prolly gonna order them today, and get them tomorrow morning. Hopefully the hubs come off the drum easier than the drums off the car!
