I think it'd be easier just to pull it. Having to reach down in the engine bay even farther would be tough and then I'd start getting issues with steering box probably. Plus where to hook the hoist? Could use a jack underneath I suppose. Well if I need to do it I won't get lazy. I can pull it. Dodger is looking for some bolts now too. Maybe he can come up with something. Thanks.

Consider  removing drive shaft, transmission mount and loosen the motor mounts to drop the motor enough to get to the rear ones? Just a suggestion????

Truly I don't think there will be an issue using the stock head bolts. BUT I'd feel more comfy with some new ones. I did look at what you just posted and did not find anything saying "poly" nor listing a 318 in '64. It did pop up with stuff for the 273 LA. The part listed on this link here is for some accessory 1/4-20 bolts. A tad small :-)
