Here's a photo (credit to Anthony Young), of a 63' Plymouth, with a Hurst-Campbell shifter for a T-85 3-speed with the carpet in place. I know to never say never, and being around these cars when they were new, I've never seen that style shifter in a 62'-63' B-body with a T-85.
I have seen this style shifter on a 74' Plymouth Road Runner 318/2V, 3-spd.
