Re: 62 Newport Disc Brake Conversion?

Yes they are 122" wheelbase, and are about 214.9" long overall.  They are 79.4" wide at the front bumper and the front wheel width is 60.9" and 59.7" rear.  The wagons are a bit longer with a 216.4" bumper to bumper but the other measurements are the same.  As far as I know next to nothing will interchange with a B Body car, except maybe some drive train parts.  I'm not sure what motors where put in the B body cars, but the 880 would have come with a 361, 383 or 413 in either an stick shift or automatic.

I believe they are called the SD3-L in 1962, they came as a 2 door Special Club Coupe, 4 door Sedan, 4 door Special and 4 door Suburban Special and the Convertible Coupe, not sure what they are called in the other years.

The 1962-1964 body's are just the same as the 1962 Newport and have the dimensions listed above.  Minor dash and body panel differences in the 1964 but it's the same car.  The 1965 is a different beast.

The 1965 880 is a the same body as a Polara or Monaco I think, doors and fenders interchange that's how I arrive at that assumption.

Does that help?  Are you going to buy one or are you looking for parts for one?

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
