It's just like 1962 Newport, based off the same car. The 880 is a 1961 Dodge front clip on a 1962 Chrysler Newport body. Came the same way....2 door HT, 4 door HT, Wagon, Convertible. So it is a BIG uni body boat. The 1962 880 had the same rear as the Newport taillights and all, the 1963 had round tail-lights surrounded by chrome, and the 1964 had restyled rear and looked different in the back than the other two but it was still the same body. The 1965 is a completely different car than the 62-64. So the 1965 didn't share as much with the older ones, but it was just like all the other full size 1965 Chryslers. I think the dash was a 61 Desoto dash to start, and it changed as time went on. So this car started out as a mutt from all angles. But as these are my favorite models I'll forgive Chrysler.
